I made It

This is probably the most simplest outfit out of all 3 but its simplicity is what sets it aside from the 2 other outfits. I wore this when I went out with my friends for a birthday lunch at PEACHY IN THE SECRET HIDEOUT at Nicoll Highway, you guys should definitely check it out because its so affordable and they're servings are massive and it tastes really good! So its a pretty simple get up and I think that the shoes is what gave this outfit a really nice look in it.

Both top and bottom are from H&M. The black top is a ribbed material with a low scooping neckline or v neck which what made me buy it. Then for the bottoms, I went out of my comfort zone with these because I would never ever wear flowy or baggy bottoms ever in my life but when I saw this and tried it on, I fell in love with how it fits me. Its just really airy when worn and could be dressed down for a more bohemian look or dressed up for a more formal/sophisticated look. Since I am very short (4 ft 11) I would always wear shorts or skirts to kind of elongate my super short legs but this pants didn't make me look like a midget or anything.;

Lasty, I put together something super casual and like an everyday outfit or a fun hangout day with friends or family. I lowkey felt badass wearing these, I was wearing all black so I decided to go and stick with a dark lip to. My top is from an online store called Therafstore.com and my boyfriend jeans is from a shop in scape which unfortunately I forgot the name!!

Pretty self explanatory so here you go! As promised, I made 3 different outfits that would suit the lipstick and also, Stay tuned for a haul from therafstore.com.

Swarovski and Gold

An impromptu retail therapy with really cute and satisfying purchases. Well, I kind of just roamed around Lovisa without any plan of buying anything but when I turned and looked at one of their jewelry racks, I was taken at awe when I saw this cute watch with gold coating. My instincts tingled and I knew that I had to get my hands on that holy watch. I got a great deal at SGD20 and grabbed the watch and continued to roam and browse around the shop.

It is just this gold, simple watch. It gives off the look that it might be a branded or expensive watch but truthfully, its just a cheap watch with good exterior. What I love about this watch is its big dial. The dial itself is the face of the watch and , we can see from the picture itself that it has a simple finish and the numbers are represented by lines instead. The hands are also in gold colour and is kept simple. The straps however, would be the biggest disadvantage of this watch as it is the type of strap that will get worn out easily and will peel off and look really disgusting. In simple words, the straps are cheaply coated with gold colour/paint. But how big the watch's face is, how narrow and simple the strap is which made me fall in love with it.

I do believe that I can wear this with both casual and formal outfits because of its mere simplicity which what I fell for. I could easily pair it with body con dresses and pencil skirts and play around with how I style it too.

Rose

 Diamond

Light Amethyst

I was about to go to the check out counter when of course, the really nice and friendly sales clerk has got to persuade me to buy their product on special promotion. This product is actually SWAROVSKI crystal earrings which is a "buy 2 get 1 free". Im guessing that Lovisa and Swarovski made a collaboration because these earrings are made out of crystals from SWAROVSKI and the rest is 97% real silver. I knew all these because the sales clerk was blabbering all out when I was picking the colours that I wanted and the stones are actually based on birthstones. My birthstone is actually Topaz and I do not fancy its brownish, yellow tone therefore, I did not pick my own birthstone colour. Instead, I picked "Diamond" for March, "Rose' for October and "Light Amethyst" for June. Let's all be honest, SWAROVSKI isn't really the most affordable jewelry and it collaborating with Lovisa is actually surprising. And I got 3 SWAROVSKI earrings for SGD25 that is a great deal!

Instigator

I am once again back after a really irrational fever that could've been a viral infection (the bloody haze would've contributed as well). But I'm all well now and back on track!

I have been really into dark lipsticks lately like plums and dark reds especially matte lipsticks. And what more of a surprise I got when my friends decided to actually buy me a MAC MATTE LIPSTICK (as an early birthday present) in a shade that I have been wanting to get my hands on forever. About a few days ago, I bluffingly messaged my friends that I want a MAC lipstick as a birthday present and I sent them a picture of two shades, one in nude and the other in a dark plum shade. I was obviously kidding the whole time but at the same time hinting them what I wanted. But the thing is, I was totally not expecting them to really spend a great amount of money on a birthday present. Being with them and having them as someone I could run to when I'm at my lowest is good enough for me but they decided to go overboard with it which totally made me realize that these people are legit.

And here it is. Take note that this is actually my very first MAC product ever as I wouldn't even dare to have a step into the MAC retail store as it just really intimidates me. The camera in my I phone 6 does not really do justice on the lipstick's original shade but I'll try my best to describe it in words. I was really shocked at first when I saw the packaging as It was overly tiny and I expected it to be somewhat a bit larger than it normal size. However, its minimalism and simple exterior really catches my eye and sets that chic look. The shade is in the name "Instigator" , as seen from the title of this blog post. The shade itself of course overpowers with the colour violet. A dark and opaque shade of violet which I really really love.

colour/shade - As I said earlier, the shade Instigator is more on the dark violet/purple side and is really bold and just out there when worn. However, it has this light purple shade when only several coats is applied.

smell - I dont know about other users but I like my lipstick to be smelling good because its on your mouth and it stays there for quite abit of time right? the lipsticks that I have from sephora has this divine smell I couldn't even put to words and of course I was not disappointed by MAC as this lipstick smelled like vanilla and milk. (vanilla scents are my fave, not even kidding)

I decided to swatch the lipstick on my hand instead because I was lazy to put it on and I am currently looking like a dead sloth due to haggardness from netball training. In addition, I can't grow or get my nails done as once again, due to netball. But lets all now focus on the shade on my hand, Isn't it lovely??? I am literally in love with it and I'll definitely wear it every single day that I go out and try to match it with the clothes that I wear. This just gave me an idea. How about I post 3 different outfit that is totally compatible with this shade of lipstick? Yes that sounds like a good one. :)
